Two strong chess players can have very different strategies in the same position and they might be equally effective[.] Each player has his own style, his own way of solving problems and making decisions. A key to developing successful strategies is to be aware of your own strengths and weaknesses, to know what you do well."

~Garry Kasparov - How Life Imitates Chess

About Us:

Like a game of Chess, each Real Estate transaction is unique and has a possibility for great complexity. While the pieces are known and the moves are relatively simple; the nuance involved is the difference between success and failure.

The game of chess throughout time has been used as a training tool as well as an allegory of human life. Some appreciate the romance of the game, while others the logical calculations and set rules of play.

For us, the game represents logic and passion. We feel that an agent must be knowledgeable above all else and continuously aware of the situations they find themselves in. We must navigate the contracts with wisdom and creativity, and perform like a machine to get to the closing table.

So why the Pawn?

The Pawn in the game of chess is regarded differently by many people. To some, it's something that is manipulated (just pawns in the game), and to others something that is insignificant and disposable.

Chess Players know that a Pawn can be one of the strongest pieces on the board despite its perceived limitations. Pawns, in fact, are complex pieces, filled with special moves and potential that a cunning player knows never to throw away without a good reason. And let's not forget, the Pawn can deliver checkmate to a king.

But above and beyond, the pawn is the most “human” piece. It cannot move backwards. Forward is the only path before them. And when something stands in their way, they can choose to be stuck and immovable OR move around and tackle the challenge from a different place. They can rely on others for support and overcome the challenges as we so often find that no one succeeds along.
